Here come the Ajax books

It's only been six months since Jesse James Garrett neatly rechristened the combination of JavaScript, DOM and behind-the-scenes HTTP requests as "Ajax," and there are already three books available for preorder at Amazon:

I've also heard rumblings of books from O'Reilly, Sitepoint, etc.

Are you working on an Ajax book? Hit us with a comment.

I know of a few folks, myself included, who've been contacted about doing just that. I'm not lined up for anything personally at the moment though.

Don't know if my book, DHTML Utopia from SitePoint counts -- it has two chapters covering Ajax stuff in amongst the general unobtrusive scripting work.

Jens Grochtdreis writes in to tell us his friend Johannes Gamperl is working on a German Ajax book to be released in 2006.
